Novak Djokovic, who will only be joined by Andy Murray a week before the Australian Open (January 12 to 26), gave an update from his coach during the on-court interview after his first round victory in the ATP 250 in Brisbane.

“Andy is currently skiing with his family. I send my regards to the entire Murray family. I hope he doesn't get hurt skiing before he comes to Melbourne. We spoke before the match. I am very happy to have him on my team. He's been on the other side of the net for over 20 years. For the first time, he is on the same side of the court. Should be fun in Melbourne. »

Note that in the round of 16, the Serb will face Gaël Monfils, whom he has beaten 19 times in as many meetings.
