ATP – WTA > Kyrgios still without filter with Sinner and Swiatek: “It’s disgusting for our sport”

Nick Kyrgios continues his exaggerated statements against Jannik Sinner and Iga Swiatek, both mired in a doping case.

The Australian, who is back in Brisbane and will have an already complex first round, has not minced his words since Jannik Sinner's doping case was revealed.

During 'Media Day' in Brisbane, Kyrgios did it again by saying that Sinner and Swiatek were disgusting for .

“I have to speak out because I think not many people do. I think people try to sweep everything under the rug. There is no equal treatment for all players. We saw it with Max Purcell. The reason it's different is because he went to the authorities first, admitted that he did something that was on the banned list. He said it openly, that's how it should be, instead of sweeping everything under the rug. Sinner is the world number 1. He's an incredible tennis player. I never said the opposite. I just think treatment should be fair for everyone. I think this has been handled horribly in our sport. For two world number 1s to be found guilty of doping is disgusting for our sport at the moment and everyone knows it, but no one wants to talk about it. It's really horrible. »
