Lenovo officially unveiled the new Xiaoxin SE 2025 laptop series aimed at a wide range of users in China.

Here’s what we know

The range includes models with 14, 15.3 and 16 inch screens. Each model is available with an Intel Core i5-13420H or AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS processor.

All laptops feature IPS displays with a resolution of 1920×1200 pixels, 16:10 aspect ratio and a matte finish to reduce glare. The 50Wh batteries provide decent battery life. The keyboard has a comfortable 1.3mm depression, and the 15.3- and 16-inch models also feature a numeric keypad.

The Xiaoxin SE 2025 series supports 16GB of removable RAM, making upgrades easier. All laptops come with a 512GB SSD, with the option to install an additional M.2 SSD to expand storage capacity.

The laptops feature a variety of ports, including HDMI, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 ports (one on each side), USB Type-C with charging and data transfer, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a standard charging port.

All devices are 16.9mm thick and weigh different depending on the size

  • 14 inch model – 1.39 kg,
  • 15.3 inches – 1.59 kg,
  • 16 inches – 1.68 kg.

Prices in China

  • 14-inch with AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS – 3,699 yuan ($505), with Intel Core i5-13420H – 3,599 yuan ($490).
  • 15.3 inches with Ryzen 7 – 3,899 yuan ($535), with Core i5 – 3,799 yuan ($520).
  • 16-inch with Ryzen 7 – 3,899 yuan ($535), with Core i5 – 3,799 yuan ($520).

Xiaoxin SE 2025 laptops are currently only available in China, but it is possible that they will appear on the global market under other names.
