At CES, the major technology show in Las Vegas, Withings presents a new ‘smart’ mirror. This Omnia Health Screening Mirror, as it is called, is intended to review your health.
We know Withings for its smart fitness trackers and scales. The company is now expanding its range a little with the Omnia Health Screening Mirror. With this mirror, you can do a complete ‘health check’ every day. The screen displays various vital functions such as your heart rate, blood pressure, and any irregularities in your heart rate. The device comes with a support that also gives you your weight and tracks changes in it, your water mass, your muscles in relation to your amount of fat, etc. In combination with other Withings devices, you can also view statistics on your sleep quality and much more on the mirror.
We’re not sure how much we need someone to tell us again that we should diet, exercise more, or go to bed earlier, but Withings already provides an AI assistant that gives you feedback . This bot should also be able to help motivate you.
However, the device is still in its early stages. This means it may never come out. Withings, however, is already seeing options in the future for telehealth, where you can send your data to a doctor or coach via the mirror.
