A Samsung Galaxy S24 is good, but when paired with a good, affordable smartwatch like the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE, it’s even better. Currently, the brand’s two products are also included in a pack priced at 751 euros instead of 1,128 euros at Fnac and Darty.

Samsung should soon present its Galaxy S25 range of smartphones, but in the meantime, the brand’s current flagship, namely the Samsung Galaxy S24, is still just as recommendable, in particular thanks to its AI-based software functions. If it tempts you, know that it is currently accompanied by a Samsung Galaxy Watch FE connected watch in a pack sold for less than 760 euros.

The strong points of this Samsung pack

  • A compact, bright smartphone with Galaxy AI
  • A connected watch with OLED screen and a battery of sensors
  • A duo significantly cheaper than usual

The Samsung Galaxy S24, in 128 GB, was launched at 899 euros, while the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE connected watch was offered, upon release, at 229 euros. The two products are now combined in a pack offered at 751 euros at Fnac and at Darty, instead of 1,128 euros.

A sustainable smartphone with a dose of AI

The Samsung Galaxy S24 is first of all a smartphone which offers a rather comfortable grip with its flat edges, even if we regret that the brand has abandoned its famous characteristic rounded edges. The overall finishes are fortunately exemplary, and the S24 is also entitled to a solid body, thanks to its Gorilla Glass Victus 2 coating and its IP68 certification. The S24 is also a very compact smartphone – a small size that has become rare – and its panel measures only 6.2 inches. This LTPO Full HD+ OLED screen is also refreshed at 120 Hz and scores even more points with its exceptional brightness. With a peak of 2,376 cd/m² in HDR and up to 1,309 in traditional use, there is something to impress.

In terms of performance, the Exynos 2400 chip is unfortunately not capable of delivering good power, especially in gaming: drops in framerate are frequent… We prefer to focus on its software part: not only does the smartphone entitle you to seven years of major updates, but it also allows us to take advantage of One UI 6.1 and especially Galaxy AI, i.e. the software functions of the brand based on AI. The options are numerous and really interesting, even if some could be improved. On the photo side, the module consists of a 50 Mpx wide-angle sensor, a 12 Mpx ultra-wide-angle sensor and a 10 Mpx x3 telephoto lens. Finally, the 4,000 mAh battery is a bit disappointing, and the 25 W charging does not allow you to benefit from a quick boost…

A durable and complete watch

For its part, the Samsung Galaxy Watch FE is a smartly designed connected watch, perfect for small and medium wrists with its 40 mm case. It is also and above all very resistant since it is IP68 certified and even promises water resistance of 5 ATM, like the high-end models. On the screen side, it includes a 1.2-inch Super Amoled panel, with integrated ambient light sensor and an Always-On mode. The watch is also intended to be versatile and is therefore equipped with a host of sensors allowing it to measure the user’s heart rate, their blood oxygen saturation level, their stress level in real time, their blood pressure. blood pressure (only with a Samsung smartphone) or to perform an ECG (again with a brand smartphone only) and to monitor sleep phases.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch FE also contains a GPS which offers decent precision, despite some slight inconsistencies in the tracks. Heart rate monitoring is optimal. Finally, the Galaxy Watch FE is particularly durable with its 32 hours and 30 minutes of autonomy measured during our test.
