The manufacturer is indeed offering anyone who wants to hear it to come and try its new virtual reality headset in store, without spending a single cent. Making an appointment is now accessible to all French people. Here is the procedure to follow to reserve a slot without further delay:

- click on “Book a demo“, in the menu at the top right
- Sign in with Apple ID
- choose your Apple Store based on your geolocation
- choose the day of the appointment
- choose the appointment time

How does this test take place?
The Vision Pro test in the Apple Store consists of trying the mount foradjust to your sizeevaluate your comfort and navigate within the operating system: visionOS. For ergonomics, the testimonials we have consulted so far show that the headset is not always suitable for long-term use. But the manufacturer may have understood this very well, since its handling does not exceed thirty minutes. However, this is largely sufficient to get an idea of the value proposition of the device, and to test all its native apps. Among these, we can notably cite the case of Freeform (note-taking), Pages (word processing) or Apple TV (streaming).
We do not know if the manufacturer also offers to try accessories that allow you to control the interface via Bluetooth, such as the Magic Keyboard and the Magic Mouse. In addition, you should know that the Apple Vision Pro is currently not suitable for wearing glasses. To remedy this, the Zeiss brand, however, offers inserts adapted to your eyesight, at a price of over one hundred euros.
The importance of trying the Apple Vision Pro before buying it
It is highly recommended to test your Apple Vision Pro before purchasing it. Indeed, since the arrival of the mixed reality headset on the American market, several users have complained about headache or neck pain. Be aware, however, that these ailments most often occur after prolonged use, or to people who already do not respond well to virtual reality. If you have encountered problems when wearing a competing device, such as the PlayStation VR, this is a detail that should not be overlooked.
Customers who find that their Apple Vision Pro no longer suits them but after purchase can also return it free of charge. Apple employees will then be required to refund you, subject to a reasonable withdrawal period of course. As a bonus, a one-year limited warranty is offered by Tim Cook’s company. The Apple Vision Pro arrived in the United States in February. These are already available for pre-order in France, for 3,999 euros for the most affordable edition. The helmets should arrive at the first French customers from July 12, but some packages could be a little early, as usual. For the lowest budgets, another Apple mixed reality headset could also see the light of day by 2027, more affordable, less powerful and more comfortable. However, this is only a hypothesis for now.
