If you watched the latest Nintendo Direct, you couldn’t have missed the presentation of the new game from The Legend of Zelda license. Called Echoes of Wisdom, it promises many surprises and already surpasses the competition on one specific point.

The new Zelda is a sensation
On June 18, Nintendo made sure to maintain players’ interest for the second part of 2024. While many already thought that the Nintendo Switch was dead and that there was nothing left to do but wait for its successor, the Japanese manufacturer has decided to pull a few trump cards from its pocket to convince us otherwise. Taking up the very marked aesthetic of the remake of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, this new game will emphasize the use of the princess’s own powers to solve puzzles and eliminate her adversaries. Thus, it will be possible to duplicate many objects thanks to the sceptres of Tri and use them to create platforms or well-armed guards.
The princess surpasses the competition
Although some might have preferred a game a little more similar to the rest of the saga for the first one allowing you to play Princess Zelda, this new title from Nintendo still caught the eye of many players. Thus, it surpasses some of the behemoths announced during the Summer Game Fest such as Doom: The Dark Ages, ASTRO BOT or even Gears of War: E-Day. If we rely solely on this application, we can therefore say that The Legend of Zelda: Echoes of Wisdom is the most anticipated game among those revealed during the Summer Game Fest. Furthermore, it is not the only Nintendo game to have caused a sensation, since Mario & Luigi: The Brotherhood Epic is in sixth position in this ranking and Metroid Prime 4: Beyond closes the top 10. If you still doubted, this is good proof that Nintendo still manages to do well in the game.
