Assassin’s Creed Remakes Are Real: CEO Confirms Open Secret

We’ve been hearing for a while about many rumors about different remakes related to Assassin’s Creed. Until now, they were just “rumors”, but now we can say that they really exist: Ubisoft CEO confirmed this information.

In a recent post on the French company’s official website, Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft, said that ” users may be excited about some remakeswhich will allow us to revisit some of the video games we’ve made in the past and modernize them; there are worlds from our old Assassin’s Creed games that are extremely rich.”

From there, Guillemot does not provide any more information, that is to say, he simply confirms the rumors about the remakes of the previous installments of the saga. NOW, what video games is he referring to?

If we take into account all the rumors that have been circulating around Assassin’s Creed remakes, they focused on two games. On the one hand, Assassin’s Creed 1, Altair’s adventure that came out almost two decades ago (which is an understatement) and has aged poorly in many ways. On the other hand, a game that has aged much better like Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flagthe pirate adventure where ships were the main protagonists.

As we said, Guillemot has not confirmed that these two video games are the ones that are receiving a remake, but he has confirmed that there are remakes of the saga in the works. Taking into account that the remakes of the games were revealed thanks to these two installments, the rest is nothing more than the addition of two and two. At least, for us, it is really clear.
