Games: the most notable releases of July

July is rarely a good month for video game releases. However, some studios are taking advantage of the calm of the period to offer their experiences. Let’s see what awaits us in this month of July 2024.

NEXON will open the show at the beginning of the month with The First Descendant, a third-person action game. Playable solo or up to four in cooperation, the title has the merit of being offered in a free-to-play format. However, it is keen to take care of its visuals thanks to the Unreal Engine 5.

The second week will be very calm… Until the storm the following week. Indeed, between the 17th and 19th, three games will be released, one per day. The first will be Nobody Wants to Die, a new license running on Unreal Engine 5. We are promised a dystopian universe and an investigation leading to the manipulation of time. The second will be an action-RPG from A44 Games, the studio behind Ashen. An open world, magic, weapons and humanity to save will be on the program.

The third one will be a new game from Capcom. This one will have the particularity of splitting its game phases into two distinct parts. During the day, it will be exploration and, at night, it will be time for combat. Everything will take place in a very fashionable Japanese atmosphere. As for the rest of the month, it will be very calm. Suffice to say that it will leave a few days to catch up on its backlog.

As always, you can add each of these games individually to your Google, Apple or Outlook calendar with the push of a single button.

The game will propel us to 2329, in New York, in the shoes of James Karra, a detective from the Mortality service who must investigate a dangerous killer. To discover the truth, he will be able to use several advanced technologies that can help him manipulate time.
