Less than three days after its release, the DLC ofFire Ring has already reached the milestone of 5 million copies sold worldwide. There was no doubt about the success of
Shadow of the
Erdtree after that of the main game. It must be said that FromSoftware’s title was able to conquer the crowds despite its difficulty. It is therefore a new success for the studio which is venturing into darker territory.
With this expansion, players follow in the footsteps of Miquella, Malenia’s brother. There they can discover the Kingdom of Shadows which is full of mysteries and dangers even more deadly than Between-Earth. To face all this, the arsenal is expanding with new weapons, new spells and brand new armor. Creating a unique style of play therefore becomes even easier, provided you find the most appropriate combinations.
There is no need to say, Shadow of the Erdtree is a real success with the public. See the DLC ofFire Ring exceeding 5 million units sold is therefore quite logical. However, everything is not perfect and some small details remain quite annoying at times. We think in particular of one of the foggiest quests in the title, which pushes the player to go against all logic.
