First useful lesson that our colleagues do not show in their table: all – yes, all – Lunar Lake Core Ultra 200V processors are chips equipped with 4 efficient cores (Lion Cove) without hyper-threading and 4 efficient cores (Skymont ).

It is also good to note a distribution of the range into 4 Core Ultra 5, 4 Core Ultra 7 and a new addition, Core Ultra 9. This Core Ultra 9 is also the only chip to have a PL1 power of 30 watts when all other Lunar Lakes are limited to 17 watts.

The different processors in the line-up are also distinguished by the on-board memory which can be found on the reference of each chip: if its number ends with an “8”, it is equipped with 32 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 dual rank whereas if we find a “6”, it is only 16 GB single rankbut still LPDDR5X-8533 memory.

All chips have an NPU whose performance is displayed at 40/48 TOPS depending on the model: sufficient for Microsoft’s Copilot+ PCs. Finally, the Core Ultra 5 integrate an Arc 130V graphics solution with 7 Xe2 cores and a frequency of 1.85 GHz while the Core Ultra 7 and 9 have 8 Xe2 cores thanks to their Arc 140V. There, on the other hand, the GPU frequencies are more disparate, from 1.95 to 2.05 GHz.
