OnePlus formalizes the Nord CE 4 Lite. A smartphone at 329 euros which promises to take care of the quality of its Amoled screen and the speed of its charging. Here’s what you need to remember about it.
The brand had confirmed its announcement, here it is now duly made official. Make way for the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite which promises to “ revolutionize the cheap smartphone market“. We are therefore dealing with a phone for less than 400 euros and it has some arguments to make.
Design-wise, nothing very surprising. The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite opts for a uniform look at the back where the brand logo appears clearly in the center. You will also notice the two cameras housed vertically in the upper left corner. At the front, the slab is fitted with a centered punch. The corners of the phone are rounded, but the edges are rather flat.
Let’s come to one of OnePlus’ main arguments to sell you its CE 4 Lite: the screen. The latter extends over 6.67 inches and offers an Amoled display at 2400 x 1080 pixels (Full HD+) enhanced by a refresh rate varying from 60 to 120 Hz. The panel also relies on Samsung technology to pushing the maximum brightness to 1200 nits with localized peaks at 2100 nits.
Also, the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite boasts an “Aqua Touch” solution promising good responsiveness of the touch screen even in the rain.
Inside, the phone has a Snapdragon 695 5G which is no longer very young. This chip was already powering smartphones in 2022. Nothing to be afraid of according to OnePlus: the manufacturer highlights 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM to ensure smooth daily use. The manufacturer claims that its latest addition can keep up to 26 applications in the background without having tokiller. In addition, the brand guarantees 48 months of fluidity for the system.
You can also count on 256 GB of UFS 2.2 storage.

Let’s move on to the photo sensors. There are two of them and the main one is a 1/1.953 inch Sony Lytia 600. It offers a definition of 50 Mpx, is accompanied by an aperture of f/1.88 and has optical stabilization (OIS). We are also entitled to a 2 Mpx depth sensor to help with portrait mode. OnePlus also highlights good quality of the x2 zoom, but this is done digitally.
We finally arrive at the other key asset that the OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite wants to highlight: its 80W Supervooc fast charging. This boasts of going from 0 to 100% in 50 minutes on the 5110 mAh battery. Added to this is the promise of a longer lifespan for the accumulator. Thus, it will take at least 4 years for the battery to lose 20% of its maximum capacity – an inevitable phenomenon with lithium-ion, but which normally occurs more quickly.
Moreover, note the presence of stereo speakers, a 3.5 mm jack, a microSD port and compatibility with the 5G network.
The smartphone benefits from the OxygenOS interface and Android 14. Unfortunately, only two major OS updates are guaranteed and three years of security patches.

The OnePlus Nord CE 4 Lite is available in France at the recommended price of 329 euros and will be marketed from July 1. You will find it in two colors: Super Silver and Mega Blue.
