The French subsidiary of the South Korean manufacturer has formalized its agreement with L’Argus. Thus, Kia France will use the Planet VO2 software to structure the used car sales activity in its network of certified dealerships.

It was one of the last major brands not to have taken the plunge. It is now done. Kia France announces the deployment of a tool for monitoring used car sales activities in its network. And to do this, the French subsidiary has formed a partnership with L’Argus.

Thus, Kia Certified Used Dealers will now be able to benefit from the range of functions included in Planet VO2. The commercial management software will be deployed in the 216 dealerships as part of a process to modernize monitoring tools.

The management of Kia France regularly explained that they lacked visibility on the situation at points of sale. Planet VO2 will provide monitoring of consolidated data to better think about strategy on a large scale.

Automation of actions and market reading

For dealers, it is about gaining relevance to customers. Argus suggests that users will be able to configure routes according to each profession. Above all, it will be a question of automating actions such as the publication of advertisements. Planet VO2 will give them the possibility of adjusting trade-in offers and positioning sales prices according to market conditions.

The Kia Certified Used Cars label covers used cars less than five years old and 120,000 km. The manufacturer then provides a five-year warranty after carrying out checks and revisions.

The South Korean brand is enjoying success on the French used car market. The consequence of a growing fleet and a strong promise in terms of reliability. All channels combined, Kia totaled 30,243 returns to the road in the first five months of the year, according to AAA Data, or +17.4% year-on-year (compared to a market average of +3.8%).

At the same time and over twelve consecutive months, Kia involved 69,023 transactions, representing 13.7% growth, while the overall used car market grew by 4.1% to 5.276 million exchanges.
