Nintendo confirms some of the original Mario and Luigi developers are working on Brothership

Nintendo won’t say who’s developing Mario & Luigi: The Brotherly Epicbut the company gave some information.

As Game File reports, Big N claims that “some of the original developers who worked on the franchise are involved in development.” Nintendo said more information would be included in the game’s release credits.

Regarding Mario & Luigi: The Brotherly Epic in particular, many fans are wondering who is behind the game. This title is even more interesting since AlphaDream closed its doors a few years ago following bankruptcy. Previously, AlphaDream handled all other games in the series. The last original game in the franchise was released almost ten years ago.

Get ready to embark on a new RPG adventure that will take you from island to island with Mario and Luigi! The brothers are back for a brand new opus in the Mario & Luigi series where they will board the Navisthmus (half-island, half-ship) to explore the vast world of Connexia. Play as the mustachioed duo and explore islands that range from tropical forests to vibrant cities. Meet new friends who will help you and meet familiar faces from the Mushroom Kingdom during your journey. Count on the brotherly bonds between Mario and Luigi to complete your quest by using duo actions to overcome obstacles, and unleashing powerful brother attacks during dynamic turn-based combat. Mario & Luigi: The Brotherhood Epic will arrive on November 7.
