Tata – An amount of more than 1.45 billion dirhams of investment has been allocated to development projects in the province of Tata, which has enormous potential, said the head of government, Aziz Akhannouch, on Thursday in Tata. .

“The province of Tata, which HM King Mohammed VI continues to surround with His great concern, is endowed with significant potential,” declared the head of government during a visit to the province, noting that he proceeded alongside several ministers to the launch and visit of several projects completed or currently under study and which will be launched soon with an investment of more than 1.45 billion dirhams.

Mr. Akhannouch specified that the projects cover several areas, health, sports, agriculture, education, culture, among others, citing in this sense two dams which will be launched soon and three under study, as well as tracks, roads, water points, in addition to the program of restructuring the oases.

According to the head of government, the health sector is strongly present with the strengthening of the health offer thanks to a provincial hospital and a health center with a maternity center, emergency and resuscitation service of quality and various specialties.

Mr. Akhannouch welcomed the development and transformation experienced by the education sector in the province and the quality of the pioneer school and the teacher training center in Tata to support the reform of the education system, noting that the goal is to generalize the model of pioneer schools throughout the province of Tata.

These programs, added the head of government, also concern the field of sport with sports hall projects, noting that the population of the province is demanding more local fields.

The visit is part of efforts to give more attention to this remote region which needs more support and resources, he said, noting that the government is working with local authorities to provide the province with the necessary resources to promote its development.

Mr. Akhannouch launched and visited, on Thursday, a series of development projects in local authorities in the Tata Province.

This visit is part of the implementation of the proximity policy, in accordance with the High Royal Directives aimed at reducing socio-spatial disparities, and confirms the interest in reducing these disparities in the government program.

During this visit, Mr. Akhannouch was accompanied by a delegation including the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Khaled Ait Taleb, the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa, the Minister of Equipment and Water, Nizar Baraka, the Minister of Youth, Culture and Communication, Mohamed Mehdi Bensaid, the Minister of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development and Water and Forests, Mohamed Sadiki, the Minister of Tourism, Handicrafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, Fatim-Zahra Ammor, the Minister Delegate to the Minister of Economy and Finance, in charge of the Budget, Fouzi Lekjaa, the Wali of the Souss-Massa region, governor of the Agadir prefecture Ida Outanane, Saaïd Amzazi, the president of the regional council Souss-Massa, Karim Achengli and the governor of the province of Tata, Salaheddine Amal.
