The van was transporting two racehorses in a trailer. According to our information, the van was returning from La Teste-de-Buch (Gironde) where the animals were lined up in a PMU race. The boat was going to Pau. In this head-on collision, the two horses are alive. According to our information, one of the two is injured. Without apparent seriousness. They were taken out of the van and placed in a meadow next to the scene of the accident. A van sent from their stud farm in Pau is expected in the evening to pick them up.

Also called to the scene, the Dax company gendarmes carried out the usual findings to clarify the circumstances of this collision. The condition of the two vehicles attests to the violence of the impact.
