A decent smartphone that struggles to stand out
Elegant but classic design and screen, the Honor 200 Pro struggles to stand out on appearance. It still sports an unusual style with “undulations” on the back, a bit like wavelets, which are the most beautiful effect. For the screen, the Chinese manufacturer opts for OLED in Full HD+ definition (2,700 x 1,224 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz max. If it does not rise to the level of smartphones equipped with a real Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, it dominates direct competition like the Google Pixel 8 or the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, and sometimes by a very long way. During our test, the Honor 200 Pro did very well with Fortnite And Genshin Impact with the high graphics, the technical score is therefore well mastered.
As for the camera, if it is not perfect, it has the merit of being interesting. It consists of a 50 Mpx main sensor (f/1.9), a 12 Mpx ultra-wide-angle sensor (f/2.2), a 50 Mpx x2.5 telephoto lens (f/ 2.4) and a 50 Mpx front sensor (f/2.1). Above all, the main sensor and the “Harcourt” portrait mode are good.
