The new Honor has arrived and when you say release, you say pre-order offer! Until June 25, the Honor 200 Pro benefits from several discounts and gifts offered on purchase, which allows you to obtain this mid- to high-end smartphone at a much more reasonable price. Thanks to a coupon and a trade-in offer, the Honor 200 Pro is available for 619.90 euros instead of 799.90 euros.

Honor is making waves again this year by launching a new range of smartphones including the Honor 200 Pro. Located between the mid and high range with an introductory price of 800 euros, it makes slight concessions in order to present premium performance and a successful camera, but is it armed enough to be competitive? That remains to be seen. However, at the moment, the Honor 200 Pro is really interesting thanks to this pre-order offer which allows you to obtain it with a discount of 180 euros.

What to remember about the Honor 200 Pro

  • The performance of its Snapdragon 8s Gen 3
  • An interesting main sensor and portrait mode
  • A 5,200 mAh battery with 100 W charging

Instead of 799.90 euros usually, the Honor 200 Pro is now available on promotion at 619.90 euros in the official store thanks to the AFR200 coupon which applies a 100 euro reduction and a trade-in bonus of 80 euros (check box on the product page). In addition, a helmet Marshall Major IV and a connected watch Honor Watch GS3 are available for purchase.

Where to buy

Honor 200 Pro at the best price?

A decent smartphone that struggles to stand out

Elegant but classic design and screen, the Honor 200 Pro struggles to stand out on appearance. It still sports an unusual style with “undulations” on the back, a bit like wavelets, which are the most beautiful effect. For the screen, the Chinese manufacturer opts for OLED in Full HD+ definition (2,700 x 1,224 pixels) with a refresh rate of 120 Hz max. However, the colorimetry does not reach 100% of the DCI-P3 and the brightness does not exceed 1,200 cd/m² despite the promise of a peak of 4,000 cd/m². Damage.

As for the interface, the Honor 200 Pro is based on Android 14 with the MagicOS 8.0 overlay. It takes three years of major updates and four years of security patches, for a smartphone at 800 euros, it’s too light, we are even in the low range in this price segment. In terms of autonomy, the Honor 200 Pro has a 5,200 mAh battery capable of lasting a day and a half and big games do not melt its energy reserve at high speed. For recharging, you can count on 100 W wired and 66 W wireless.

A Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 watered down for performance

No, it’s not a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 under the hood of the Honor 200 Pro, but a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, a version light if we want. If it does not rise to the level of smartphones equipped with a real Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, it dominates direct competition like the Google Pixel 8 or the Motorola Edge 50 Pro, and sometimes by a very long way. During our test, the Honor 200 Pro did very well with Fortnite And Genshin Impact with the high graphics, the technical score is therefore well mastered.

As for the camera, if it is not perfect, it has the merit of being interesting. It consists of a 50 Mpx main sensor (f/1.9), a 12 Mpx ultra-wide-angle sensor (f/2.2), a 50 Mpx x2.5 telephoto lens (f/ 2.4) and a 50 Mpx front sensor (f/2.1). Above all, the main sensor and the “Harcourt” portrait mode are good. The first is convincing when the right lighting conditions are met while the second is rather good, but shows some signs of weakness depending on indoor or outdoor lighting.
