In Saint-Sulpice, a Haute Couture exhibition to discover at Bohin

Inspired by great literary and mythical stories, Eymeric François knew how to mark the landscape of Parisian fashion thanks to his obsession, transforming each woman into a living legend.

He exhibits until 1^er November at The visit to the Bohin workshops, in Saint-Sulpice-sur-Risle (Orne).

A dreamlike universe

From the outset, Eymeric François captivated attention with his pin-adorned creations and zipped dresses, leaving his mark on Parisian Couture.

Beyond its innovative techniques, it is its dreamlike universe, nourished by mythical characters and legends, which seduces and inspires.

The diversity of creations is highlighted here in a large thematic retrospective where we can perceive his influences (notably Mugler and Lacroix with whom he worked) and his sources of inspiration.

Parisian elegance

In the world of Eymeric François, Parisian elegance shines like a lurex thread on a precious fabric. It is a common and structuring thread which is found in several of his creations.

The first room is particularly dedicated to this inspiration from Paris and the Parisienne in the creator’s work.

A palette of colors

The colorful galaxy of Eymeric François is a world where each shade evokes an emotion, a story, an enigma to be deciphered. Colorful in this way, Eymeric François’ creations are lively, passionate and daring.

In this section of the exhibition, black outfits are omnipresent, but they are not just ordinary creations.

They reflect the infinite variety of textures, plays of light, subtle tone-on-tone patterns.

Black offers Eymeric François a blank canvas on which to fully express his creative genius.

The different inspirations of the creator

In the final chapter of the exhibition, visitors are invited to immerse themselves in an eclectic universe where Eymeric François’ inspirations mingle and intertwine, forming a captivating mosaic of creativity and daring.

From science fiction elements to cinematic references to gothic vogue, each outfit reflects the designer’s varied sources of inspiration.

This exhibition could not have been complete without the support of the Stockman company, which honors Bohin by lending fifteen Haute Couture busts, thus making it possible to reach the hundred models exhibited and to present dresses that were otherwise too fine.
