AEW has signed a new broadcast agreement with the Warner group as mentioned on Catch-Newz and the company is preparing a big technological change in January 2025.

Indeed, SportsVideo had the chance to speak with Mike Mansury who is the chief director of production at AEW and we learned that they will be changing their production truck. A major investment on the part of AEW which will use the new and first production truck from Live Media Group Ip. A truck that offers new network technology.

Mansury says this change could make AEW production easier since everything will be centralized. Currently one production truck manages the broadcast and another manages the production inside the room, in 2025 everything will be under the same roof. The AEW therefore aims to move on a more sporting axis, declares Mansury:

”From 2025, we will see a more sporty presentation in theaters, in order to entertain the public when there is no action in the ring or recorded content broadcast in the room. We want to create a nice separation between the show in the theater and the television broadcast, just to make that experience for those in the theater a little more special.”

It now remains to be seen whether there will also be changes on the screens since the company will use new technology. Over the past year, a few elements of AEW’s production have changed on our screens as Mike Mansury has stepped into the role. Changes which have clearly not ended.
