RoseUp Association was present at the 17th edition of the French Cancerology Meetings. Isabelle Huet, director of RoseUp Association, spoke during a round table on the theme “New levers and new directions in the daily care of patients.”

She highlighted the key success factors of reinforced coordinated pathways and digital remote monitoring solutions with regard to the needs of sick people.

  • Firstly, concerning the coordination of routes in town and at home, the urgent need to provide patients with a single referring professional, the pivot of care in order to prevent the patient or caregivers from being forced to play their part. themselves this coordination role, which is often the case today unfortunately.
  • Regarding digital remote monitoring solutions, she wondered to what extent these apps will be able to meet patients’ need to benefit from human support. The outlook is rather bleak in this regard, with these solutions being put in place to address staffing shortages. Isabelle explained that this is precisely the challenge RoseUp has taken on for 2 years with M@Maison RoseUp, our information and personalized support platform for women with cancer throughout the country. This service, designed based on the needs expressed by our members, provides our beneficiaries with receptionists to guide them and listen to them by telephone as well as a program of interactive supportive care workshops, led by professionals permanent staff, who answer their questions live.
