Treyarch and Activision are taking advantage of the second weekend of Black Ops 6 to make players want to dive into it and allow them to earn as many points as possible. This is the well-known principle of Double XP, and the good news is that it will last longer than initially expected.
Even more time for Black Ops 6 Double XP, level up!
The launch of Black Ops 6 went rather smoothly and Activision's servers held up despite welcoming the largest number of players in 3 days since the launch of the franchise. There's no doubt it's a success for the latest Black Ops game, and for Microsoft's Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass.
But there was still a small problem during the Black Ops 6 Double Xbox weekend since the developers indicated that the game did not always give the expected number of points.
Last night we identified and fixed an issue that was sometimes limiting the amount of 2XP awarded to certain players.
Most of the time, no one really paid attention to it, but the bug was still fixed pretty quickly. The good news is that to make up for it, the developers have decided to extend Double XP for a whole day. So, instead of ending on Monday, November 4 at 7 p.m., the big Double XP weekend will end on Tuesday, November 5 at 7 p.m.
As a reminder, this event allows you to double your profile and weapon experience points, but also obtain Gobblegums in zombie mode. Don't hesitate to check out our tips for maximizing points gain in Black Ops 6, such as using the Strategist perk to accumulate a lot of points in objective modes. Take advantage of this Double XP expansion to level up your weapons and unlock new parts to gain combat effectiveness.
