The influencer and mom Cassandra Bouchard and her lover Ced Lemieux were recently passing through Parenthesis Podcast hosted by Lysandre Nadeau et Claude Bégin.
In this episode, the couples of friends discussed a subject that affects them greatly, that is to say, family life.
Towards the end of the episode, Cassandra asked the hosts what their biggest challenges are as parents, a question that was quickly returned.
She then stated that at the moment she feels very good, but that the answer might not have been the same if the question had been asked two months ago.
Cassandra ends up answering that her biggest challenge is being separated from her little one Oziesince she feels the powerful need to always be by his side.
“I want to be with my daughter all the time (…) so I go to take her to daycare and I really don’t want to work, I really don’t want to do anything and I feel bad and I want to go look for her. I really need to be with her,” she admits, finding her challenge a bit “stupid.”
This is a situation which, however, affects her professional life since she has difficulty motivating herself.
In terms of family life, Cassandra continued by saying that everything is going well and that the older the little one gets, the better.
“It really was the newborn stage that I really wanted to gunnerI found it really difficult,” she says, then realizing that she hadn’t used an appropriate expression to describe how she felt at that moment.
“I was at the end of my rope, I really found it difficult, but now, the more she gets older, the more I find it wonderful to see her marvel at everything (…),” continues- her, explaining that she finds it beautiful to see her evolve as a little human.
A very interesting and above all very honest exchange between the four parents who are experiencing the same situation closely.
