The advantage of having a PC like the Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 is to not have to carry around two devices, and to benefit from the compactness of a single computer to use as a tablet. This is the whole promise of this machine which is particularly aimed at all image professionals (even if everyone can use it of course) because the screen offered displays beautiful colors. You can currently find it at 849 euros instead of 1099 euros on Lenovo’s direct website.

Why go for the Lenovo Yoga 7?

  • The super 14″ OLED WUXGA 60 Hz touch screen
  • A solid AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor on its supports
  • The digital pen is practical, precise and lightweight

The price of the Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 is 1,099 euros. But at the moment, the site allows you to save money and offers it to you for 849 euros.

A PC/tablet that relies a lot on its screen

Like the majority of two-in-one computers, this Lenovo Yoga 7 2-in-1 is therefore a machine where you can rotate the screen 360° to place it with its back to the screen and offer a touchscreen tablet format with 14″ screen. So yes, it’s a little thicker than a classic tablet, since you have the thickness of the keyboard. But in terms of comfort, you are much better settled.

The screen of this computer is a 14″ OLED touch panel which displays a WUXGA resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels compatible with HDR 500 and which displays 100% DCI-P3, with a refresh rate of 60 Hz and a brightness of 400 nits. A much more than decent configuration for working on photography and drawing, especially since you have a really practical digital stylus.

A good machine restricted in its evolution

The rest of the configuration follows the road well, including an AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor, clocked at 3.30 GHz base which can be boosted up to 5.10 GHz. A processor that is also found on a machine like the ASUS Zenbook 14 OLED, a modern machine which costs around €1,499.

Yellow card on the RAM, which is nevertheless good since it is 16 GB of LPDDR5X-6400 MHz RAM, but it is soldered. You will therefore not be able to evolve it if one day you lack a little fluidity. The 512 GB M.2 2242 PCIe Gen4 TLC SSD is good but without more, double it would not have been luxury.

You can count on a battery life of around a whole day, which is ideal for working outdoors. Finally, the connectivity is a little tight, but satisfactory, with a microSD card reader, a USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 port, an HDMI 2.1 TMDS port, a USB-C 4.0 Gen 3 port (DP 1.4a, PD 3.0) and a second similar but in 3.2, without forgetting the headphone jack.

The 14″ screen might seem small, which is a shame for a PC dedicated to graphics. But the possibility of switching it to tablet mode and therefore being physically closer to the screen corrects this defect a little.
