Casio confirms data breach after hacker attack

Casio has confirmed a data breach following an attack by hackers from the Underground group.

What we know

The leak involves confidential information about employees, candidates, business partners and related parties, including legal, financial and personal documents. The company assures that customer payment data, including credit card information, was not affected.

Last year, Casio also faced a leak on its ClassPad.net education service, but this time that service was not targeted. Casio is working with authorities to assess the scale of the incident and mitigate its impact.

The company continues to protect its customers’ data and works to strengthen the security of its systems to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
