Here is an area where we did not expect NintendoNintendo : waking up. The manufacturer has just announced Alarma musical awakening interactiveinteractive with a sensorsensor of movementsmovements and a screen.

You can personalize the alarm clock by choosing from five games: Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Splatoon 3, Pikmin 4 et Ring Fit Adventure. Each game features seven different scenes, for a total of 35 scenes. Those who connect their Nintendo Account will also be able to download scenes from the games Mario Kart 8 Deluxe et Animal Crossing: New HorizonsNew Horizons. This allows you to wake up to the music and sound effects of the chosen scene, and also changes the display. Thanks to its motion sensor, it emits sounds during small movements, lowers the volumevolume when you move, then automatically turns off when you get up.

Multiple wake-up modes

It offers several wake-up modes, with a softer mode, or the volume which gradually increases in intensity. It is also possible to turn it off by pressing a button. It keeps a history of how long you spent in bed, how long it took you to wake up, and whether you moved during your sleepsleep. Finally, you can ask it to play soft music to help you fall asleep.

Alarm is offered at 99 euros, but for the moment the sale is limited. Only people in the United States and Canada with a Nintendo Switch Online subscription can get it. It is expected to be more widely available around mid-January 2025.
