For its new 2025 edition, the famous Lyon guide promises great surprises. Distributed in more than 150,000 copies, Petit Paumé has become, over the years, a must-have for discovering the city’s good addresses. Its slogan for 2025: “Awaken your 5 senses”
The Petit Paumé 2025it is above all a rigorous selection of the best places in Lyon: restaurants, bars, boutiques, cultural places… Something to satisfy all tastes and budgets. This year, the guide offers a new distribution of sections divided into three main parts :Lyon stroller, Lyon gourmand et Festive Lyon.
The layout of the guide is broken down into eight sections which highlight the establishments: local shops, cultural or sporting activities, restaurants, cafés or bars. Faithful to its impertinence, the guide retains the section nocturnal and naughty activities. « Forbidden Senses ».
Criticisms in nuance…
The editorial line of the 56th edition attempts to find a balance between those of the 1980s and those of the post-covid guides. The objective being to transcribe as best as possible the good and the bad tests. “But also to ensure that we respect the restaurateur or trader in his work by bringing nuances to our point” specifies Hugo CuratolaEMLyon student and president of Petit Paumé.

In this edition, the scoring method has been revised and the grade range goes from Good, Good +, Good ++, TB to RPPP. The attribution of RPPP has also been revised.
Less RPPP…
“In order to restore value to the macaroon and so that the reader can more easily identify our favorite establishments, around a hundred RPPP were distributed this year, compared to 215 the previous year. This decision also makes it possible to restore value to other notes.”
The guide is not limited to a simple directory. It also offers a event programming throughout the year. From concerts to exhibitions to designer markets…
In addition to the paper version, the Little Paumé 2025 is available in digital version. The latter offers many additional features, such as geolocation addresses or the possibility of create your own routes.
Support for the Bellebouffe association
This year, Le Petit Paumé chose to collaborate with the association Bellebouffe. The latter is an association which aims to promote a dignified access to quality food, greedy et durable. For everyone at the local level. Since 2019, the association has supported communities and residents in the implementation, evaluation and promotion of actions in favor of a fairer, ecological, more united and democratic food system.

The 2025 edition of Petit Paumé also aims to be more eco-responsible. “We took over the value chain of the guide. The team went to the printer. To study what could be done to reduce our carbon footprint. We chose paper made from thinned wood. We resized the guide to avoid wasting paper…”
The next distribution of Little Paumé 2025 will take place in Bellecour on October 12…
