Ten low degrees and continuous showers! The third edition of the Luxembourg Open Air Festival was packed to the rafters in Esch-Belval this Saturday evening, despite autumnal temperatures and precipitation which could have cooled the coldest. At the foot of the blast furnaces, the LOA did not go into detail and the public present in mass very quickly climbed into the towers thanks to quality sets offered by DJs such as Malaa, Goodboys, Regard, or even Cassö and Daire Valentino.
Based in Algrange in the French department of Moselle, Alexandra told us she “had a very good evening, despite the rain”. “We had bought the tickets and there was no going back. And we were right. The beautiful haircut, in the showers, is wasted effort. You might as well forget about the sunglasses. On the other hand, the poncho or the k-way to deal with the rain, it was essential. Even if we are no longer very dry inside. I’m going to go find my down jacket! It’s the very first time we’ve come and it’s great.”
Originally from Romania, but a Grand Ducal resident, Flavio would not have missed this evening for anything in the world. “I remain very motivated, because it always feels good to go out a little with friends, even in the rain. This is the third time I’ve come. And this time, I realize that my little jacket isn’t very useful in the rain. My little cap is soaked and with my colleagues, I’m having a blast.
For Vicky, from Useldange, the evening was a great success. “It’s so good, even if it rains,” she concedes, “you have to deal with the rain, too bad. I’m covered in a little plastic to try to ward off the rain and the glitter on my face holds up, so it’s good. It’s the first time I’ve come and both evenings. It’s great to see that Luxembourg can organize such electronic evenings on this very beautiful site of Esch-Belval.
