Soon, when you are bothered by too many messages from a stranger, WhatsApp will automatically block them.
This is a feature that has just arrived in beta, as revealed by WABetaInfo, and we can therefore predict that it will arrive in the near future for the average WhatsApp user.
With this feature, strangers will still be able to contact you, but they will no longer be able to harass you with a flood of incessant messages.
You will still need to enable the feature for it to work, and this should be found in your WhatsApp account settings, specifically in the advanced settings of the privacy tab.
Typically, when a feature is available for beta testers on WhatsApp, it means that there are only a few weeks left at most before its release. However, this is not an absolute rule, but rather a trend, so we cannot say for sure that the feature will be available next month.
