The Galaxy S24 FE keeps us waiting. And yet, the wait could soon be over, if we are to believe this video from Samsung.
It all starts with a promotional video published by Samsung Vietnam. Very short, it nevertheless shows the right edge of a smartphone. Seen from the back, we can see a flat edge and three lenses aligned vertically.
The doubt is very slim. It can only be the Galaxy S24 FE. The video displays a date and time: September 26, 2024 at 10 p.m., with a counter on the Samsung website. This is the launch of orders on Samsung’s Vietnamese platform.
The original video, which was made private, listed a Galaxy Unpacked release date of September 20, which is today, in the description.
We are only talking about dates for the Vietnamese market here, but there is no doubt that this will set the wheels in motion for the Galaxy S24 FE to arrive in France very soon. Rumor has it that this would be in October, or in the immediate aftermath.
What’s inside the Galaxy S24 FE
The Galaxy S24 FE is said to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate and an impressive 1,900 nits peak brightness. It is said to be powered by the Exynos 2400e processor in some regions, along with a 4,565mAh battery.
Design-wise, the phone would retain a similar look to the Galaxy S23 FE, with a triple-sensor camera module on the back: a 50MP main sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle, and an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
There’s talk of several colorways, including graphite, blue, silver/white, green, and yellow, with two additional colorways exclusive to Samsung’s site.
On the software side, Samsung would launch it under Android 14 with the One UI 6.1.1 overlay and Galaxy AI functions.
