On Tuesday, September 17, 2024, the Natation Val de Boivre association organized, in partnership with the Myl-roses association of Quinçay, their Pink October evening in the Creps swimming pool in . A group of musicians, at the edge of the pool, accompanied and set the rhythm for an aquagym session. Corentin Mayet, as conductor of the session, was able to adapt it according to the proposed repertoire; no false notes but a lot of joy and shared smiles.

The evening continued with a friendly moment around a drink and dishes prepared by the members. An event that allowed to collect 220 € of donations; this sum will be doubled by the swimming association and given to the League against cancer soon.

Many members

The association was created two years ago by the will of elected officials and volunteers from the municipalities of Béruges, Biard, Quinçay and Vouneuil-sous-Biard. A new municipality has just joined this association in 2024, that of -le-Comte. More and more members are coming to enjoy the Nordic pools located on the Creps site: 120 members in 2023 to more than 200 in 2024.

A success that rewards the commitment of all the volunteer actors. They put all their energy into developing the association. This year, circuit training and aquabike sessions will be offered in addition to adult swimming, aquagym, children’s learning and aquaphobia sessions. To date, access to the association is limited only to residents of partner municipalities, with proof of address. The association highlights the investment of the Creps de Poitiers for the provision of equipment and its listening throughout the sports season.
