Since 2009, the two partners have continued to revolutionize the sneaker landscape with ever more daring collaborations. Iconic details like the mudguard (front part of the shoe, along the outsole) in chlorophyll green denim and the legendary Swoosh, reinforce its status as an iconic sneaker. While retaining the essence of the original version, the designers went so far as to use the same fabric as the 2009 version. But beware, a few details have been modernized, starting with the insole, which swaps the Dutch Guilder design for a 20 euro note. The box, meanwhile, is adorned with a personalized chlorophyll shade, a nod to Patta’s 20th anniversary.
Already available on resale sites, the excitement surrounding the return of the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 “Chlorophyll” has continued to grow over the past few months. Patta’s co-founders even took the lead by posting on social media with the models in question, sparking excitement among fans. The teaser showed the sneaker’s green and white essence, accompanied by a box marking the brand’s symbolic anniversary.
