Washington no longer finds the path to victory in the NBA. Kyshawn George and the Wizards suffered their 10th consecutive defeat on Sunday, the 35th in 41 games, losing 123-100 in Sacramento.
The Wizards, who had experienced a worse series this fall (16 losses in a row), nevertheless got off to a good start by scoring the first six points of the match. But they were already 11 lengths behind 1’36 from the end of the first quarter (30-19).
Washington was then never able to believe in a ‘comeback’, weighed down by its lack of shooting skills (36%, with a poor 23.8% at 3 points). Valais ‘rookie’ Kyshawn George (6 points) scored 2 of the 10 winning baskets scored by the Wizards, adding 3 rebounds and 3 assists for a differential of -16 in 24′ spent on the floor.
The man of the match was Domantas Sabonis, son of Lithuanian legend Arvydas Sabonis. The strong forward from Sacramento had 29 points, 18 rebounds and 4 assists. George was the second highest scorer for the Wizards behind Jonas Valuncianas (23 points, 12 rebounds).
