Formula 1 | Official: Bravi will leave Sauber team at the end of January

Team representative and Sauber managing director Alessandro Alunni Bravi will leave the team at the end of January 2025.

The Italian joined the team in 2017 as legal advisor and board member, bringing his decades of motorsport experience to the company. Appointed general manager in 2022, with specialization in marketing, communications, sales and other departments, he had been the public face of the team since 2023, when he took on the role of team representative in all official functions during race weekends and off the track.

With the arrival of Jonathan Wheatley from Red Bull Racing as team principal on April 1 (instead of the summer of 2025), a change of position, at least, was assured for Bravi. It’s finally a departure, with no other role for Bravi at Sauber. Bravi, however, mentions a new project, which he has not revealed.
