No time to lose for Toyota and Kalle Rovanperä. Less than a month after Dévoluy, the Japanese manufacturer and its double Finnish world champion set up their base camp in the Hautes-Alpes this Tuesday.
The opportunity for them to carry out their first preparatory outing this year in view of the 2025 season and especially the Monte-Carlo Rally (January 23 to 26). In addition to the Rally1 lacking the hybrid system, Kalle Rovanperä, back on a full program, was able to work once again on the new Hankook tires which are taking over after the departure of Pirelli.
On site, the Toyota driver was able to train on a section of asphalt that was both snowy and icy. Some spectators took the opportunity to approach the sides of the road to admire Kalle Rovanperä’s drive. The other drivers of the Japanese brand are also expected in the coming days.
