The number 10 at FC Barcelona could end up no longer having an owner during this winter transfer window. Today, it is worn by Ansu Fati but the Spanish striker’s future at the club is very uncertain because he has still not found his top level. Both parties are looking for a way out that would suit everyone, whether it be a loan or a permanent transfer. Vigilant to the situation of the former great jewel of La Masia, Sevilla FC would like to attract the native of Bissau but the Blaugrana are firmly opposed.
The Negreira case and the registration of Olmo and Victor
Sport reveals that FC Barcelona is filing its right of veto against the Andalusian club because of the refusal of the Sevillian leaders to go to the Montjuic box on October 20 following the Negreira affair scandal. A behavior deemed unacceptable by the Catalan management which has nevertheless maintained good relations with the club from the south of Spain with multiple financial transactions in recent years. But more recently, it was the pressure put by the Blanquirrojos on La Liga regarding the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor as well as the threat of legal action if the registration was validated, which broke off contacts between the two clubs. No transfer or loan will therefore be possible for Fati and any other players.

To summarize
Ansu Fati seems to have little chance of continuing his adventure at Barça but the club has definitively closed the door to a transfer to Sevilla FC. The Catalan leadership will impose its veto after the behavior it considers inappropriate on the part of Andalusian leaders by refusing to go to the Montjuic lodge following the Negreira scandal. But also because of the pressure exerted by the Sevillians on La Liga concerning the registration of Dani Olmo and Pau Victor by uttering threats of legal action.
