PSG: “Special”, Luis Enrique lets loose on Qatar

This Sunday afternoon, PSG won on the wire against AS Monaco (1-0) for the Champions Trophy. At the end of a meeting relocated to Doha, Parisian coach Luis Enrique was pleased with the good performance of his team, but also with the holding of this final in Qatar.

The PSG already crowned in 2025. The capital club gleaned a first title for this 2024-2025 season, with a victory against AS Monaco this Sunday afternoon during the Champions Trophy (1-0). A stoppage-time goal scored Ousmane Dembélé delivered Parisians, who until then had dominated without succeeding in realizing their opportunities.

“After having had 10 days of vacation, because the coach gave us 10 days, it felt good, it was difficult, we put in the intensity, we had opportunities. Either way, things could have changed. For his part, Luis Enrique welcomed the performance of his team, for this “special” meeting at the Qatar : “It was a great match, with two teams playing good football. The result is deserved and reflects our domination, against one of the best teams in France and Europe. We played a good final and it's an important title for PSG.
