Negotiations are going well between Al-Nassr and Fenerbahce regarding the transfer of the Atlas Lion to the Saudi Pro League. Cristiano Ronaldo’s club would have offered 34 million euros while the Turkish club would have demanded the tidy sum of 40 million.
A few weeks ago Fenerbahce did not want to give up the semi-finalist of the 2022 World Cup while the Saudi team wanted to include the Brazilian player Talisca in the transaction. Which pushed Al-Nassr to take out the check to negotiate the purchase of the former Sevilla player.
According to Turkish media, Saudi officials are expected to travel to Turkey next week to conclude a historic transaction (if it goes through) as it will set a record for player sales in the Turkish league.
As a reminder, Youssef En-Nesyri (27 years old) played 24 matches with the club coached by José Mourinho this season, in all competitions. He scored 9 goals while providing 3 assists.
