The matches follow one another and are similar for Matt Rempe, who continues to put the New York Rangers in trouble even if he rarely plays for them.
The 6'8″ colossus was able to re-join the Blueshirts roster thanks to honest work in the American League and the trade of Kaapo Kakko to the Seattle Kraken. Head coach Peter Laviolette called on him for Friday night's game against the Dallas Stars.

Nearly a month after his last duel, Rempe still hasn't learned. In the third period, he slammed defender Miro Heiskanen against the glass, which led to a melee. After deliberation, the officials ruled that this hit behind the back merited an expulsion.
This is the fourth time in 22 career games that he has been chased out of a game by the referees.
Heiskanen was able to get up under his own power, but had to retreat to the locker room to be evaluated.
This is far from the first time that Rempe has used his impressive frame in the wrong way. In his last game with the Rangers, on November 25, he was guilty of an obstructive gesture for an unnecessary and late hit against St. Louis Blues forward Jake Neighbors.
Matt Rempe is already acting up again with an unnecessary penalty –
The Rangers posted a 3-1 victory over the Rangers thanks to goals from Reilly Smith, Vincent Trocheck and Chris Kreider. This is only their second victory in their last seven games.
Rempe still has no points in five games with New York, but he has 24 penalty minutes.
