It’s been just over a month since Erik ten Hag was fired from his position as Manchester United coach. After more than two years at the head of the Red Devils, the Dutch coach was fired due to poor results. To replace him, Man United decided to entrust the reins of the team to Ruben Amorim, the former coach of Sporting CP.
For his part, Ten Hag is ready to take on a new challenge, but he is waiting for the right offer. In the Netherlands, it is believed that the 54-year-old could turn his back on coaching to become honorary president of FC Twente, but that seems unlikely.
Ten Hag cited at RB Leipzig
Indeed, Ten Hag maintains a good rating with the top European clubs. After being cited at AS Rome, the Dutch coach is now insistently cited by RB Leipzig. According to information from Fichajes, the German club could quickly part ways with Marco Rose in order to put an end to the series of poor results (5 defeats in a row). The Leipzig leaders believe that Ten Hag can turn the situation around thanks to his great experience.
A team with a Belgian accent
If he signs there, the former Man United coach will have three Red Devils under his command: Loïs Openda, Maarten Vandevoordt and Arthur Vermeeren.
