The seven-time world champion praised the performance of the crowned Dutchman in Las Vegas.
Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) and Max Verstappen (Red Bull) are certainly not the best friends in the world but the Briton knows how to recognize the superiority of his opponent, crowned world champion in Las Vegas this Sunday. Second in the Grand Prix in Nevada, the seven-time world champion congratulated the Dutchman whom he designated as one of the big favorites for the title in 2025.
“He did a fantastic job. He didn’t make a mistake, he did what he needed to do in every race, every moment, he and his team did a great job once again, for the 4th year in a row. I think he’s going to be hard to beat next year because they had to start developing their future car earlier than the others.”commented the future Ferrari driver satisfied with his performance in the «city of vice» : “I took great pleasure in moving up places (from 10th on the grid to 2nd), it reminded me of my youth, starting at the back of the grid and moving up. It was great”.
