Deprived of a doubles title, China shone in the two singles tournaments of the WTT Finals, organized in Fukuoka (Japan). This Sunday, November 24, world No. 1 Wang Chuqin gave the Japanese Tomokazu Harimoto no chance, winning largely in four sets after a table tennis lesson (11-2, 11-8, 11 -7, 11-5).

A very close women’s final

The 24-year-old table tennis player thus retains his title acquired in Doha last January, he who also won the Grand Smashes in Jeddah and Singapore in 2024. Wang Chuqin ends a magnificent season in style, marred by an early elimination in the round of 16. final of the Olympic Games by the Swede Truls Moregard, to everyone’s surprise, last summer.
