TDF. Tour de France – Wout van Aert and Jorgenson have fallen… Visma cursed

Have we ever known a season more unlucky than that of Visma | Lease a Bike in 2024? The Dutch team is in all the bad shots and especially the falls this year, and this beginning of Tour de France seems to be going at the same pace… After seeing Wilco Kelderman going to the ground the day before on the 1st stage, there are now two other riders who tasted the asphalt this Sunday, and not the least with Wout van Aert et Matteo Jorgenson ! At the intermediate sprint of Dozza, about 90 km from the finish, Laurens More (INEOS Grenadiers) took with him the Belgian and the American at the back of the peloton. A priori more fear than harm since the three men were able to leave, even if they were still damaged and had to take a trip to the medical car to treat some scratches. It will be necessary to monitor their condition at the end of the stage and especially in the coming days.
