Lausanne Hockey Club is pleased to announce the arrival of Swiss striker, Raphael Prassl (26 years old) whose contract will last until the end of the season 2025-26 (2 seasons).

A versatile player, Raphael Prassl completed his entire training in the ZSC Lions organization, with whom he played his first National League match during the 2015-16 season. Promising, he took part in 222 games (59 points, including 27 goals) with the Zurich Lions and was notably National League champion in 2018. After having had a few call-ups with the Swiss team, he signed with HC Davos at the start of the 2021-22 season. Raphael defended the Grisons colors for three seasons (124 games, 40 points, including 14 goals).

Affected in the lower body at the end of the 2023-24 season, Raphael is still recovering and will not be available to Geoff Ward and his staff before October.

John Fust – Sports Director of Lausanne Hockey Club : “Raphael has an interesting profile that perfectly complements our squad. He is a hard-working player who can play in all positions and who will allow us to have depth while maintaining a very high level of quality. His injury was known before the signing, and we will take all necessary steps to ensure that he returns in the best possible conditions.”
