Things are moving quickly in the Isamel Koné case. OM has just announced that it has reached an agreement in principle with the Canadian international.

The Olympique de Marseille midfielder is a project to finish before the start of next season. And for good reason, the Marseille club lost two players in this sector of play. Two Senegalese who will both fly to other skies. Ilman Ndiaye left for Everton while Pape Gueye is also no longer an OM player.

The Olympian club therefore targeted Ismael Kone. Currently at the Copa with his Canadian selection, the 22-year-old is having his second season with Everton. A few days ago, OM reached a full agreement for the transfer of the defensive midfielder.

This time the two parties have an agreement for the next 5 years.

“Olympique de Marseille announces that it has reached an agreement in principle with Watford FC and Ismaël Koné for the player’s arrival at the club. Ismael Kone (…)will sign with OM subject to the results of the medical examination scheduled for next week »wrote OM in a press release.
