Last night, Bronny James was selected with the 55th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft by the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron James’ son could make his debut in the Purple and Gold uniform as early as early July.

From July 6, the Los Angeles Lakers enter the competition in the California Classic Summer Leaguea small four-day tournament to get the youngsters in their legs. The program:
- 6 juillet : Sacramento Kings – Los Angeles Lakers
- 7 juillet : Los Angeles Lakers – Golden State Warriors
- 10 juillet : Los Angeles Lakers – Miami Heat
But if Bronny James doesn’t participate in this first tournament, he could make his debut starting Friday, July 12, 2024 during the Summer League. As is tradition, franchises launch their rookies, sophomores and G League players into a summer competition as a preview of the regular season.

Beyond the link with LeBron James, the Summer League will be particularly anticipated by many observers still doubtful about the level of Bronny James. After a truncated start to the season with the Trojans, the combo guard didn’t really give satisfaction in the NCAA. In 25 games, he averaged 4.8 points (36% shooting, 26% 3-point), 2.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
However, we will have to wait a little longer before seeing Bronny and LeBron play together. On July 12, the King will already be preparing for the Olympic Games with Team USA.
