The Austrian press has just released one last rumor around the FC Nantes transfer window. The Canaries would be one of the clubs interested in a former nugget of Austrian football.
During the winter of 2018, Chelsea got their hands on a 16-year-old kid with incredible talent. In Austria, he is considered one of the most promising players in the country and the Blues manage to bring him to London, raising expectations. His name: Thierno Ballo. Chelsea are placing a lot of hope on this “wonderkid” who plays in an attacking register, in the middle of the field.
FC Nantes is thinking of Thierno Ballo
Thierno Ballo’s trajectory did not have the expected success. At Chelsea, he didn’t break through to the first team. Loaned to Rapid Vienna, the Austrian showed some good dispositions but without breaking the screen. Recovered free from any contract at the end of his lease with Chelsea, Thierno Ballo wears the colors of Wolfsberg, an Austrian club which finished 8th in the last championship. In addition to FC Nantes, Thierno Ballo would also be followed by Anderlecht, in Belgium. Under contract until June 2025, the Austrian was part of the extended list for Euro 2024.
