On June 14, PSG formalized a transfer worth nearly 20 million euros for Matvey Safonov, goalkeeper of FK Krasnodar. The 25-year-old Russian international had never left his country before since he has played for the same club since his debut. Not necessarily at the forefront since he has always played in Russia, Matvey Safonov is a little surprise of the transfer window since the PSG would have spent nearly 20 million euros to recruit him. The goalkeeper with 14 international selections will wear the Parisian jersey until 2029.
