The results of the ten overseas teams entered in the 7th round of the Coupe de France, eight of which faced each other in their regional finals.
Six of the ten overseas teams qualified for the 7th round of the 2024-2025 Coupe de France were in the running this weekend of November 16 and 17. The last two, ASE of Matoury and AO of Mana, will compete on Saturday, November 23 in the form of the Guyana regional final. Its winner will join JEFC Les Abymes (Guadeloupe), RC de Saint-Joseph (Martinique) DN de Combani (Mayotte), Saint-Denis FC (Reunion) and AS Dragon (Tahiti) in the 8th round.
Les Abymes first in line
The Guadeloupeans of JEFC Les Abymes (R1) were the first to secure their ticket to a field for the 8th round, playing in the regional final of the archipelago on Sunday, November 10. They acquired it by discarding with difficulty a team of their level, CS Moulien (0-0, 7 tab 6). Their last participation at this stage of the competition dates back to the 2019-2020 edition, when they lost at home to the National 2 team of ASM Belfort FC (0-2).
Devilish Combani
THE Black Devils of Combani (R1) imitated them on Saturday November 16 by winning, also on penalties (0-0, 2 tab 4), at US Crépy-en-Valois (R3). The third participation in a 7th round of the Mahorais club of Tsingoni was therefore the good one, seven seasons after a first failure against SO Romorantin (10-1), then in National 2, and two after a second against the League team 2 from FC Annecy (8-1). They will play the first 8th round in their history against other Islanders, the Corsicans USC Corte (N3).

Saint Joseph in paradise in front of Saint Mary
The Saint-Joseph RC reached the 8th round of the Coupe de France for the first time in its history, after a match snatched in the last seconds from La Samaritaine (2-1) at the Pierre-Aliker stadium in Fort-de-France. Saved by a post (16th) then led by a goal scored with a header by Alex Balmy just before half-time (43rd), the Joséphins came back on the Sainte-Marie team on the hour mark thanks to Jiovanie Barba (59th). But they had to wait until the final seconds and a converted free kick from twenty meters from Sébastien Crétinoir (90th + 5) to force the decision. The Martinique team will travel to Pau FC, currently 11th in Ligue 2.
The breath of the AS Dragon
The Polynesians ofAS Dragon (main photo) also wrote history at the Pater Te Hono Nui stadium in Pirae, defeating US Avranches MSM (N2) on penalties (2-2, 4 tab 2). Forgotten, the seven previous eliminations in the 7th round, including the most recent against FC Versailles 78 (N3) in 2018-2019 (2-0). Evacuated, the demonstration suffered in Normandy (9-0) during the 2016-2017 edition against Avranchais then in National. The Papeete club is in the 8th round for the first time, with a trip to Calvados to face SU Dives-Cabourg (N3) on Saturday November 30.

Saint-Denis martyrise Saint-Pierre
The Reunion Islanders Saint-Denis FC will play their third 8th round of the Coupe de France in four seasons after their indisputable victory at JS Saint-Pierroise (1-4), Sunday November 17. The Dionysians left their opponent no chance, scoring by Berajo (23rd), Toufeily Bacary (67th) and Dorian Bertrand (78th sp and 90th), against a penalty from Henri Charles Gladyson (72nd). Eliminated (2-1) by Paris FC (Ligue 2) last season, they will try to perform as well as in 2021-2022 when they reached the 32nd finals only to lose (5-2) to Jura Sud Foot (N2). To do this, they will have to overcome the US Saint-Philbert-de-Grand-Lieu (N3) obstacle at home.
