The 2023-2024 season will begin around mid-August, and more precisely on August 17, 2024, for the first day of Ligue 2. The Girondins de Bordeaux will start, like last season, away from home, this time – here on the grounds of En Avant Guingamp. As a reminder, here are the matches from the first day:

But when will the 18 clubs resume? It will be, for the first and the majority, July 1, while usually the first clubs meet at the end of June. But with the Euro, there is a small gap. The Bordeaux players have already resumed their physical program in order to get their pre-season preparation off to a good start, but they will not resume collectively on July 8. They will resume among the last, with AC Ajaccio, a week after the first.
