This Monday must have been special for David Goffin. David Goffin, double quarter-finalist at Wimbledon, back in qualifying…

The taste must still be strange. Goffin played two quarter-finals Wimbledon between his first visit to Roehampton, en 2011, and this one, the second. You have to be strong to move down the category and find the resources to perform. Skilled on grass, the Liégeois seems to be up to this challenge. As a reminder, in 2011, Goffin had failed at the door of the great painting. Igor Sijsling had won in four rounds to exit the qualifiers and deprive the future double quarter-finalist of a first appearance at Wimbledon.
